This Gold Coast firm needs an experienced Operations Manager to join their team. If you are positive, friendly and enjoy a dynamic environment and can lead by example, this role is worth your consideration!

This role would suit a highly experienced Legal Office Manager / General Manager / Practice Manager with strong interpersonal and people management skills!  The successful candidate will have a flare for legal accounting, well honed communication skills and proven success in legal office management.  You will enjoy working with people towards achieving an office that runs like clock work, and you will take satisfaction from the success of the firm.

This role will see you working closely with the Partners, across a wide variety of matters for the smooth operation of the practice.  This is a fast paced role, that will require you to work efficiently and effectively to maximise precious time.

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Managing staff and all aspects of HR in conjunction with the Partners;
  • Managing and building the team culture and environment;
  • Overseeing Project management and marketing initiatives;
  • Strategic planning;
  • Supervising the Accounts function (you won't have to attend to the day to day transactions, but you will need to make sure it's all in order); and
  • All manner of tasks that contribute to the seamless running of a commercial law firm.

You will need: 

  • Prior Legal Office Management experience;
  • At least 5 years experience in a similar role;
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail;
  • An approachable, professional demeanour;
  • A flexible approach to work;
  • Solid understanding of Trust Accounting; and
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
