The role:

The opportunity will see you work across personal injury matters, predominantly NSW workers compensation matters. You will work in a supportive team environment working closely with all team members - a truly collaborative approach.

Ideally, you will offer at least 2 years PAE gained in NSW personal injury matters, specifically, NSW Workers Compensation.*  You will be provided with in-depth training, support and mentorship for experienced senior practitioners.

* The firm will consider candidates who are admitted, and who have pre admission experience in NSW Workers Compensation matters.

 

About You: 

To be a successful candidate, you will need to have:

  • experience in personal injury litigation in NSW, particularly in Workers Compensation;
  • experience and confidence in working with and assisting senior lawyers (both in written and verbal communications), including an ability to draft clear and precise letters, reports, statements and communication;
  • interpersonal skills, ability to work as part of a team, as well as an ability to build relationships and trust with clients;
  • the ability to identify and consider the key issues that always arise within personal injury litigation, and to assess and articulate legal risks (including likelihood and impact) so the client can make informed, risk-based decisions; and
  • a proven ability to prioritise tasks and manage workflow expectations in line with business requirements.
