The Opportunity
A highly reputable Brisbane law firm with an abundance of good quality work opens up the door for an experienced Legal Assistant  (at least 2 - 3 years experience) who can enjoy 50% of their time supporting lawyers with legal based tasks and the remaining 50% of their time working as an Executive Assistant - hybrid role at it's finest! 
Key Areas and duties:

Property and Projects Legal Assistant

  • Recent legal industry experience with a minimum of 2 - 3 years' within property law or similar
  • Conveyancing and Leasing support - assist the team with all aspects
  • Opening and closing files including file management
  • Preparing engagement letters and cost agreements
  • Document formatting and generation of deeds, leases, agreements and contracts
  • Performing online searches and InfoTrack searches, including online stamping
  • Strong client relationship building
  • Excellent at client liaison and strong communication with stakeholders
  • Confident with billing and general ad-hoc support
  • Reception overflow including data entry

Executive Assistant to Director

  • Supporting the Director with diary and email management
  • Flagging all urgencies and staying one step ahead at all times
  • Manage new client enquiries
  • Assist with prospective clients and guiding them to the right teams
  • Marketing support - eDM's and other marketing material advantageous
  • Assisting with reports, meeting agendas and minutes
  • Organising travel arrangements when necessary
  • Booking meeting rooms and ordering lunches for meetings
  • Using various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software
  • Opening, sorting and distributing incoming faxes, emails, and other correspondence.
  • Provide general administrative support plus more!
