This boutique firm located at the southern end of the Gold Coast is seeking a star Receptionist / Administrator with 2 years minimum legal industry experience. Ideally, you will have worked in the Litigation or Personal Injuries space, and you will be confident to manage a mix of front office and administration duties. This firm is continuing to grow with a positive, inclusive and supportive work culture. Your direct report is a delight with a nurturing and professional style of management that will see you succeeding and sharing a laugh daily!

This opportunity will see you keep the office running smoothly, by having a friendly demeanour and taking the initiative to always be one step ahead for the team.  This firm is passionate about helping their clients to achieve successful outcomes, and also taking care of their staff and their career pathways - no matter what level you start with them!

This role will see you:

  • Carrying out the day to day administrative functions of the firm;
  • Answering incoming calls in a timely and efficient manner with a positive and professional demeanour;
  • Greeting clients with a friendly disposition when they are attending the firm, offering tea, coffee, water etc;
  • Maintaining calendars / diaries and ensuring that meeting rooms, and any relevant supporting documents or invitations, where required, are included within the calendar booking;
  • Carrying out manual filing, electronic filing, precedents and merging of documents;
  • Being responsible for the daily collection and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail;
  • Scanning and keeping records of all documents received by the firm, including mail, facsimiles, client documents and other documents;
  • Being responsible for the seamless running of the office which includes (but is not limited to) keeping the kitchen tidy, ordering of office supplies, making coffee, emptying shredding bins etc.; No task will be too big or too small for you to take on!
