This firm is in need of an experienced and efficient Legal Secretary who enjoys working in a close-knit and supportive team!

Working within a highly reputable firm, this role is ideally suited to a Legal Secretary who enjoys being relied upon and working closely with an experienced Senior Lawyer.  This would be a great move for you to keep your days interesting and varied.

The successful candidate will have at least one to two years' experience in an insurance role, ideally from a Defendant perspective - but open to strong plaintiff experience and a keen desire to transition to defendant.This role will see you responsible for duties including document preparation and drafting, dictation, client correspondence and diary management.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Perform varied tasks related to Insurance Litigation including the preparation of documents and briefs, transcription of dictation, taking calls and communicating with clients;
  • Support senior staff towards achieving results;
  • To be able to meet deadlines and operate effectively under competing pressures;
  • To be able to operate autonomously and within a team and deliver a premier service to valued clients;
  • Attend to dictation, monthly billing, filing and general legal administrative work with a mix of administrative work as and when required.

You will have: 

  • At least 1-2 years' experience in the Insurance Litigation sector;
  • Strong administrative and computer skills;
  • Ability to produce quality work with strong attention to detail;
  • Fast, accurate typing - at least 70 wpm;
  • Unsurpassed organisational skills;
  • Ability to be a team player and have great attention to detail.
