The Role:
As the face of the firm, the team is looking for someone professional, well presented and friendly to join their supportive team.  In addition to greeting visitors and attending to all incoming telephone calls, this role will also involve a range of duties that will keep your day varied with:

  • incoming and outgoing mail, general email and couriers;
  • monitoring and ordering of stationery;
  • providing high level and friendly client service;
  • supporting the senior team with administrative and secretarial support;
  • making meeting room reservations via EMS or similar;
  • compiling documents, scanning and preparing pdf files for reports;
  • ensuring the reception area and boardrooms are clean and tidy;
  • greeting clients and escorting them to meeting rooms, offering drinks for meetings; and
  • general ad-hoc duties to support a busy team.

About You

  • a minimum 1 -2 years of experience in a law firm preferred, though someone with experience working in a professional or a similar office environment will be considered;
  • Excellent personal presentation and telephone manner;
  • Warm, friendly and outgoing personality would fit in well with this cheerful team;
  • energy and enthusiasm;
  • polished communication skills - confident and courteous with clients and staff;
  • excellent computer skills and attention to detail;
  • time management skills with the ability to organise and prioritise workload;
  • able to meet deadlines with a calm attitude and strong initiative;
  • flexibility and adaptability (work practices and hours);
  • the ability to work well within a team environment;
  • ability to problem solve and use initiative; and
  • a positive attitude and corporate presentation.
