With over 28 years’ local and international experience, Di works best to benefit businesses with solving productivity problems by seeking out the most qualified Candidates for the job from both a skill set and cultural perspective. Di is committed to providing a hands-on approach with every interview and placement to ensure that each receives her final seal of approval. Prior to launching DiMention Recruitment, Di was a professional of the legal industry herself, having worked for top-tier and mid-tier law firms, which focused in various areas of law including Human Resources. STEPHANIE WHITE

SENIOR ASSOCIATE & 2IC TO DIRECTOR

Stephanie took the leap from legal practice into legal recruitment in 2014 and has worked closely alongside Di ever since. Today she holds a dual role at DiMention Recruitment as Senior Associate Recruiter and 2IC to the Director — the senior voice in the team after Di herself.

As 2IC, Stephanie partners with Di on the strategic direction of the business and carries day-to-day oversight across the wider team. She mentors and guides DiMention's recruiters, acts as the escalation point on complex placements and sensitive client matters, and contributes to quality assurance across the firm's work — helping ensure the DiMention Difference is upheld on every brief.

As a Senior Associate Recruiter, Stephanie continues to work directly with law firms across the Brisbane and Gold Coast markets, placing both Legal Support and Legal Professional staff from junior level through to senior appointments. She has an in-depth knowledge of both markets and a consistently high success rate in sourcing, assessing and securing the right talent.

Her credibility with clients and candidates is grounded in her own legal career. Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from James Cook University and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law. She worked as an Assistant to Barristers-at-Law across multiple areas of law during her studies, and gained first-hand experience in private practice and, post admission, In-House. That practitioner's lens means she reads a brief from the inside — from fee-earner requirements through to the day-to-day realities of support staff roles.

JOSE BARRETO

SENIOR ASSOCIATE

After completing a Double Degree in Business and Law at Griffith University, Jose developed a passion for the Legal industry, Recruitment and Human Resources (HR). He has been working in recruitment since 2021 and joined DiMention Recruitment in 2023.

Jose gained valuable insight into the inner workings of a law firm through his previous experience in legal support roles. This experience has helped Jose understand the needs of both candidates and clients and become familiar on a firsthand basis with legal systems, processes and software.

Jose then began his professional career in a HR and Learning & Development (L&D) role before moving into a recruitment position. He specialises in recruiting for Legal, HR and Public Practice Accounting positions (both support and professional roles) and is excited to continue building his career in these industries. Specialising in Legal recruitment has allowed him to combine his two areas of interest into a fulfilling career.

Jose believes in a personable and down-to-earth approach to recruitment. He enjoys developing long-lasting relationships and is always eager to help.

KELLY MACLEOD

SENIOR ASSOCIATE

Kelly joined DiMention Recruitment in April 2021 and has since progressed into her current role as Senior Associate, placing legal professional and legal support talent across the Brisbane and Gold Coast markets.

Kelly partners with law firms ranging from boutique practices through to top-tier and in-house legal teams — sourcing, assessing and placing talent that fits both the technical demands of a role and the culture of the firm behind it. She has built particular depth across legal support staff and early-to-mid career legal professionals and collaborates closely with Stephanie and Di on technical assessment and on more senior or confidential searches.

Prior to legal recruitment, Kelly built a commercial career in senior stakeholder management, account management and business development across media, hospitality and professional services, following a Bachelor of Communications from Bond University. That background gives her a natural fluency in how firms position themselves, how to run a thoughtful briefing conversation, and how to guide a candidate through the commercial realities of a career move.

Having navigated several considered career moves of her own, Kelly genuinely understands what it feels like to weigh up an opportunity. She listens carefully to what candidates want from their next role, and is equally honest when a position is right — or when it is worth holding out for something better aligned.

Known for clear, responsive communication and a warm, considered style, Kelly treats every placement as the start of a long-term relationship rather than a transaction. When you work with Kelly, you can be confident you'll be kept properly informed, advocated for at every stage, and supported well beyond the offer.

With experience in legal recruitment dating back to 2016, Alyssa brings a people focused and considered approach to connecting legal professionals and support staff with opportunities where they can truly thrive.

Throughout her career, Alyssa has worked closely with law firms across a range of practice areas, developing a strong understanding of both the technical requirements of roles and the human elements that underpin successful, long term placements. In her current role as Associate and Marketing Manager at DiMention Recruitment, Alyssa plays a dual role, supporting clients and candidates through the recruitment process while also contributing to how the firm communicates its values and insights to the broader market.

Alyssa is deeply passionate about connecting the right people with the right opportunities and believes there is a professional “home” for everyone. Working closely alongside senior leadership, Trisna has developed a practical, inside-out understanding of the legal hiring landscape.
