With over 28 years’ local and international experience, Di works best to benefit businesses with solving productivity problems by seeking out the most qualified Candidates for the job from both a skill set and cultural perspective. Di is committed to providing a hands-on approach with every interview and placement to ensure that each receives her final seal of approval. Prior to launching DiMention Recruitment, Di was a professional of the legal industry herself, having worked for top-tier and mid-tier law firms, which focused in various areas of law including Human Resources. STEPHANIE WHITE

SENIOR ASSOCIATE

Stephanie brings an array of legal industry and recruitment experience, having taken the leap from legal practice to legal recruitment in 2014.  Stephanie is committed to helping legal professionals find career happiness, and helping law firms find long term employees.

Stephanie obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from James Cook University, graduating with Honours. She then completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with the College of Law. 

During her studies, Stephanie worked as an Assistant to a number of Barristers-at-Law across multiple areas of law.  She also gained first-hand experience in private practice prior to her admission, and gained post admission experience In-House.

Stephanie has an in-depth knowledge of the Gold Coast and Brisbane markets, and has a high success rate when sourcing and securing suitable talent.  Having worked closely with Diane for many years, Stephanie is able to assist both Support and Professional staff with their next opportunity.

MITCHELL ANDERSON

SENIOR ASSOCIATE

Mitchell is a seasoned legal professional turned recruiter, bringing a wealth of experience from his distinguished career as a litigation and commercial lawyer. Admitted to the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of Queensland, Mitchell has worked across top-tier, mid-tier, and boutique practices, as well as leading construction and infrastructure organisations. This diverse background provides him with invaluable insights into both private practice and in-house roles.

Mitchell studied at Griffith University before completing his PLT at the College of Law. He began his career at a top-tier law firm and then transitioned into a graduate position at a top-tier infrastructure company, an unconventional path that paved the way for his successful legal career. Returning to private practice, he spent many years as a generalist litigator and commercial lawyer before specializing in construction and infrastructure law, serving clients both domestically and internationally.

At DiMention Recruitment, Mitchell's passion lies in aligning the right candidates with the right firms to ensure successful long-term placements. He achieves this through meticulous attention to detail, fostering meaningful relationships, and maintaining a friendly, down-to-earth approach. He believes that people are at the heart of every organization and emphasizes the importance of cultural fit, whether from an employer’s or an employee’s perspective.

Mitchell understands the significance of "meeting the brief" rather than adopting a scattergun approach. He knows that firms are clear about their needs and strives to streamline the recruitment process, saving employers time and resources. However, when exceptional talent arises, Mitchell leverages his deep understanding and longstanding relationships to make impactful placements.

JOSE BARRETO

SENIOR ASSOCIATE

After completing a Double Degree in Business and Law at Griffith University, Jose developed a passion for the Legal industry, Recruitment and Human Resources (HR). He has been working in recruitment since 2021 and joined DiMention Recruitment in 2023.

Jose gained valuable insight into the inner workings of a law firm through his previous experience in legal support roles. This experience has helped Jose understand the needs of both candidates and clients and become familiar on a firsthand basis with legal systems, processes and software.

Jose then began his professional career in a HR and Learning & Development (L&D) role before moving into a recruitment position. He specialises in recruiting for Legal, HR and Public Practice Accounting positions (both support and professional roles) and is excited to continue building his career in these industries. Specialising in Legal recruitment has allowed him to combine his two areas of interest into a fulfilling career.

Jose believes in a personable and down-to-earth approach to recruitment. He enjoys developing long-lasting relationships and is always eager to help.

SENIOR ASSOCIATE & MARKETING MANAGER

Kelly Macleod joined the DiMention Recruitment team as our Marketing Manager in April 2021. She brings a wealth of experience in Sales, Marketing, Communications and Business Development. She leans on her creative skillset to market to clients and candidates alike, creating long-lasting connections and achieving stand out results.

A genuine “people person”, Kelly has a way of engaging with people from all walks of life. Her career began in 2014 after graduating Bond University with a Bachelor in Communications. Her creative skillset, warm persona and exceptional work ethic has led her to gain experience across multiple industries, from media and entertainment, to hospitality and tourism, to marketing, sales and advertising. Her previous roles have seen her establish & manage key stakeholder relationships, offer executive sales and marketing management services for a diverse roster of clients (Glencore, UnitingCare QLD, Pernod Ricard Australia), and execute large scale events as a Marketing Coordinator for Village Roadshow Theme Parks and as a Marketing Executive at The Star Gold Coast, drawing national and international recognition.

Having successfully transitioned careers multiple times, Kelly understands and relates to the daunting process of finding a new role. This first hand experience allows her to walk candidates through every step of the recruitment journey to ensure they receive successful offers that will lead to their dream career.

Her senior account management and executive marketing expertise enables her to offer a high degree of care and support to our legal clients, listening to their needs and wants to ensure they are presented with the right candidates that offer the right solutions.
