Menaka joined DiMention Recruitment in 2021 with relevant legal industry experience across both the public and private sectors. Having studied Law and International Business at Griffith University, Menaka completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with the College of Law.  Menaka was admitted to the Legal Profession as a Lawyer of the Queensland Supreme Court and the High Court of Australia in 2013.

Menaka has held several positions in the Queensland public sector.  She advised and represented Queensland Government departments, agencies and regulators across a range of matters including inquests, enforcement and prosecution issues as well as a broad range of Constitutional and public administrative law matters. Menaka also has extensive experience in public sector recruitment panels, having participated in numerous processes during her time in the Queensland public sector.

Most recently, Menaka was employed at a top tier law firm in Brisbane specialising in Public Law. In her role, she continued to represent Federal and State departments, government owned corporations and private sector clients in a variety of complex and high profile matters including corruption investigations and judicial review litigation.

Equipped with her firsthand legal experience, her natural ability to build and maintain meaningful and long-standing relationships, Menaka decided to make the transition into the world of legal recruitment.  Motivated to assist candidates find professional happiness in their careers and clients to find the perfect candidate for their requirements.

Stephanie brings an array of legal industry and recruitment experience, having taken the leap from legal practice to legal recruitment in 2014.  Stephanie is committed to helping legal professionals find career happiness, and helping law firms find long term employees.

Stephanie obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from James Cook University, graduating with Honours. She then completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with the College of Law. 

During her studies, Stephanie worked as an Assistant to a number of Barristers-at-Law across multiple areas of law.  She also gained first-hand experience in private practice prior to her admission, and gained post admission experience In-House.

Stephanie has an in-depth knowledge of the Gold Coast and Brisbane markets, and has a high success rate when sourcing and securing suitable talent.  Having worked closely with Diane for many years, Stephanie is able to assist both Support and Professional staff with their next opportunity.

We’re excited to welcome to the DiMention Recruitment team, senior recruiter Jennifer Donnelly. She brings more than 15 years of specialist legal recruitment experience within both private practice and in-house sectors.

Hailing from California, she studied Business Communications before emigrating to Australia in 2000 and commencing a career in recruitment.  As well as local experience, she brings vast international experience.  For 15 years she was based in Hong Kong, where she specialised in placing legal professionals across Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, and worked closely with both international legal practices and multi-national corporations.  In 2018, she moved back to Australia, where she worked placing Australian lawyers into roles throughout Asia Pacific.

As a recruiter, Jen takes a genuine interest in her clients' businesses, and stays focussed on the commercial needs of the firm. 

She's built a reputation for building long term relationships with clients and candidates, and really understanding their requirement, so she delivers high quality every time, and can always be relied on as a resource.

Vanessa brings a wealth of legal industry experience having worked at several global and national law firms where she established strong and successful relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Her background is in Human Resources (HR), and Learning & Development (L&D), assisting lawyers to achieve their learning goals and meet business strategy objectives. Most recently Vanessa has transitioned into Talent Acquisition where she is committed to sourcing the best possible candidate for her clients to create long-lasting success. Holding a Master of Communication, her understanding of people is evident in the ways she has collaborated and consulted with employees, business partners and now clients and candidates across all levels

Kelly Macleod joined the DiMention Recruitment team as our Marketing Manager in April 2021. She brings a wealth of experience in Sales, Marketing, Communications and Business Development. She leans on her creative skillset to market to clients and candidates alike, creating long-lasting connections and achieving stand out results.


A genuine “people person”, Kelly has a way of engaging with people from all walks of life. Her career began in 2014 after graduating Bond University with a Bachelor in Communications. Her creative skillset, warm persona and exceptional work ethic has led her to gain experience across multiple industries, from media and entertainment, to hospitality and tourism, to marketing, sales and advertising. Her previous roles have seen her establish & manage key stakeholder relationships, offer executive sales and marketing management services for a diverse roster of clients (Glencore, UnitingCare QLD, Pernod Ricard Australia), and execute large scale events as a Marketing Coordinator for Village Roadshow Theme Parks and as a Marketing Executive at The Star Gold Coast, drawing national and international recognition.

Having successfully transitioned careers multiple times, Kelly understands and relates to the daunting process of finding a new role. This first hand experience allows her to walk candidates through every step of the recruitment journey to ensure they receive successful offers that will lead to their dream career.

Her senior account management and executive marketing expertise enables her to offer a high degree of care and support to our legal clients, listening to their needs and wants to ensure they are presented with the right candidates that offer the right solutions.

We’re delighted to welcome to the DiMention Recruitment team, Executive Assistant, Keeley Atkinson. She is our go-to organisational and administrative expert, including being the friendly voice you hear on the phone, when calling our team!


Keeley joined the expanding team at DiMention Recruitment in 2022 and is usually the friendly voice you will hear when calling our offices.  Bringing a can do attitude, Keeley will happily point you in the right direction whether you are a support or professional candidate, or looking at hiring for your team.

Keeley provides executive support to Diane and the DiMention Recruitment team, and brings prior recruitment and administration experience in both the white and blue-collar sectors. She has a proven track record of senior-level executive support, and has held various positions within the recruitment world, particularly within the compliance side of the industry.

Equipped with first hand experience, Keeley’s skillset includes providing both clients and candidates with an exceptional standard of customer service, ensuring that support services to the team are delivered appropriately and within a timely manner.

Keeley understands the importance of working with strict confidentiality, and brings her excellent organisational and time management skills to the table, competently attending to meeting and interview coordination, data entry, auditing, reporting, reference checking, post placement follow ups and more.
